The University of Hawaii at Hilo is once again silencing the peaceful petitioning of Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) advocates. As fireworks crackle across the islands this Independence Day, we celebrate freedom. But in 2025, we must ask ourselves: How much of that freedom remains intact?
