We are happy to announce that our Defend Hawaii Act is still going strong. Questions have been raised by a number of representatives on whether to add title 10 to strengthen the language. Hawaii does not require you to provide identification just because a law enforcement officer asks. If an officer approaches you in public, you’re not legally obligated to show ID unless you’re being detained.
